Go West RV Centre, with offices in Vancouver & Calgary is one of Canada's most respected and trusted names in RV rentals, sales, parts & service. With almost 30 years in business, and a loyal client base in both North America and Europe, Go West considered re brand to be a vital part of its new positioning. Go West commissioned Glasfurd & Walker to evolve the brand in line with its expanding offer to customers and the more ‘lifestyle’ focused adjustment to its positioning. The identity reflects a more contemporary and modern outlook, whilst maintaining a visual connection to its past.

As Glasfurd & Walker’s producer Aren Fieldwalker explains, "given Go West's previous logo mark was in place for almost 27 years, we knew it was vital to keep a link to history to ensure retention of its customer base, especially in the European market."

The re brand project, which started in July 2007, covered all major areas of Go West's brand and customer touch points. From logo usage and style guide to wholesale and rental brochures to stationery, signage and presentation kits. The largest, and most intensive aspect beyond the brand creation, was the full redesign of the Go West RV website.

For the new Go West Website the interface was streamlined to make it easier to navigate and the content consolidated in such a way to allow the users to find what they want faster. To implement the web-project in a timely and cost efficiently manner a powerful ASP.NET Content Management Solution with a lot of extensive features and flexible architecture was used. Due to the scalable architecture, further development and new features can be added without big efforts.

Further applications to the brand roll out will follow in 2008, as well as the formulation of Go West's new advertising and marketing strategy.The whole re branding project has been managed by Florian Gabriel Consulting, Vancouver. Glasfurd & Walker, a Vancouver based design firm, have completed the first 2 stages of the re brand including the inferface design for the Website. Sage Internet Solutions is a Victoria BC web site design and development company. Sage Internet was assigned with the coding, implementation and hosting of  the Go West website.
